Yummy or Yuck?

Room 16 battles to fill there yummy charts as competitors rooms 12, 13, 14 and 15 scoff apples for there benefit. Samuel MacKay stated “I am glad that we are not in Akoranga (year 3-4) because room 9 would beat us to the finish of our charts no doubt.”
Seane’ Pieterse doesn’t have much to say, as her mum and dad do not by the yummy apple brand.
Room 16’s yummy chart started of to a fail, but the pupils of MR. Oades let no chart be empty, so gradually Room 16 filled in there yummy chart, and  knowing that an apple a day keeps the doctor away they proudly finished there 100 sticker chart and happily took another one on. Even when there competitors march on the aim is to raise heaps of new great sports equipment for long bay primary school, the competition creating a challenging aptness fear, putting fun into eating healthy. Room 16’s second chart becoming halve full, and there’s not much to go until a yummy finish.

Will the dance be a dodgy one?

Room 16 is an amazing class and each person in the class has at least one talent, but they have never made a dance before! Could this turn into a disaster? At long bay primary school in room 16 some people stated “I think it’s cool so far but it could `get better”, “I love hip hop because it’s my style” and “it’s pretty cool if we practice enough, it will be way better”.

Comment number two shows that we have some good dancers in the class. When the question 'how we could improve the dance?' was asked most people said “more hip hop moves were needed” while one other person said “they weren’t sure” which means they have less ideas for the dance which makes it even worse! The dance is probably going to be great. If not the class will have the respect they deserve for participating with the help of their awesome teacher and classmates.

Kristin sports day

Monday 23 August was Kristin sports day!

Everyone who went thought it was one of there best days of there life. Seane thought it was all about having fun so she didn’t care if she lost or won. The soccer team played well but the other teams were a bit better so they lost all there games.
Max was there goalie he did well he only missed up to 6-10 goals and saved around 20, that is awesome. Christian was a defender in the soccer team, he did very well. He thought it was a fun day but after every game his legs hurt.
Now we move onto the basketball team. They played really well they only lost one game that is really good don’t you think? So they came 2nd.
Joseph was one of there best shooters. He thought he improved by running much faster then he usually does. He thought that winter sports day was really fun and exiting. Now here is the netball team.
Seane was one of our faboulous netball players. When she arrived she felt really exited and weird in her stomach. She was a great shooter, so we won 2 and lost 2.Seane is a very fast runner one of the best in the netball team. She can be here and there in 2 seconds isn’t that amazing. She improved lots by not stepping. She is a really good player and we are hopping that she will go again!
